I don't think I've ever seen Resent-* used incorrectly.

Some MUAs appear to take a different approach, piling up Forwarded-By
lines on the top of the message. This has the advantage that it can be
used to express a forwarding chain. It doesn't include date information,
but I'm not sure this is a big loss.
