for some reason, this was sent to the IESG, so I assumed you wanted
my opinion on this matter, so here it is.


the notion that 

	To: joe@koobera. math.uic.edu

should be recognized as 

	To: joe@koobera.math.uic.edu

is pretty humorous. 

it sure violates "The Law of Least Amazement" in my book.

but if that interpretation is somehow derivationally correct, 
which i find hard to believe based on experience, then the spec
should be fixed.
