There is one feature that I can think of that isn't present in the current specifications that might be needed in the Brave New IPv6 Internet. I'm not sure if it counts as a new feature or as a revision. Essentially, we currently have a syntax for sending mail to IPv4 addresses without knowing the name of the host, but have no comparable mechanism for IPv6. It would seem to be a useful thing. However, are we forbidden from doing this? Perry
