Can you remind me why: "From" could not be equivalent to "Personal-Reply-To" and "Reply-To" could not be equivalent to "Wide-Reply-To" ?? I realize that many folks use Reply-To to salvage broken From lines, but I don't think we need to optimize for them by introducing new headers. I don't think it is possible for us (or in the group's charter :-) to prevent users from accidentally spamming a mailing list by getting the reply address wrong. The MUA's give the user the "reply" or "reply all" options, users have some default, and quite often they don't pay very much attention to their headers, leading to mistakes. -- Brent Welch Sun Labs brent.welch@sun.com
