When a message to a moderated list arrives, LISTSERV sends it to one of the moderators. That moderator may edit the message, if desired, and forward it back to the list with a Resent-From containing the moderator's address. The message will be distributed to the list with the original From field intact, so that replies go to the original sender, rather than the moderator.
