The old one (-06 - no idea what happened to the 07 08 and 09 versions) simply expired through not having been updated for too long. This is the correct forum to discuss it - and if you want/need a copy of the -06 version of the draft, you can get it from ftp://munnari.oz.au/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-drums-smtpupd-06.txt.Z Do be aware that it is quite ancient now (which is why it expired), and there have been quite a few agreed updates which are yet to see the I-D directories, so commenting on -06 might be wasting your time.
