Skinny Puppy tshirt designs

originally submitted by Sam Arnold:

In 1995 I was on the Smothered Hope mailing list, which was a fan list for the band Skinny Puppy. Members of the list regularly collaborated on projects in our appreciation for the band, from compiling bootlegs, rarities, and demos to producing informative FAQs about the band.

One of the members had the idea to reprint the tshirts from past tours so that fans could purchase them. We even wrote the members of the band who told us it was a great idea, but they no longer owned the rights to the shirt designs, the shirt company did. The shirt company had gone bankrupt a few years prior which left the designs orphaned. We were not able to track down a legal means to obtain rights to the designs so the project had to be scrapped.

Stifled uses

Sam Arnold:

We wanted to reprint tshirts from previous Skinny Puppy tours, but the tshirt company's bankruptcy orphaned the rights. We couldn't get licenses or permission.
