Mechwarrior I

Mechwarrior I is a computer game produced in the early 1990s for IBM-compatible PCs. As the first mainstream "giant robot" game, and the predecessor of the insanely popular and much-beloved Mechwarrior 2, it is of historical value.

I wanted to play the game, and I wanted to modify it so that it would work natively on the Linux operating system. I contacted Activision about it, but they said that they are retaining the copyright so that if they want to release it later in a compilation, they can. They said nothing about any actual plans to release such a compilation.
